1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Markets web application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Nature of the Service

The App is a free currency and cryptocurrency rate viewer that fetches and displays exchange rate data from third-party sources, including:

The National Bank of Romania (BNR) for fiat currency rates
Frankfurter API as a fallback for fiat rates
CoinGecko API for cryptocurrency prices

The App is not a bank, financial institution, broker, exchange, or investment adviser. No transaction, trade, or financial operation can be executed through the App.

3. Disclaimer of Accuracy

Exchange rates displayed may be delayed, rounded, or otherwise different from rates available in real-time markets. The creator of the App:

Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any rate or data shown
Does not guarantee the availability of third-party data sources
Is not responsible for errors, outages, or inaccuracies originating from BNR, CoinGecko, Frankfurter, or any CORS proxy used to retrieve data

4. No Financial Advice

Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should always consult a qualified financial professional before making any decisions based on exchange rates or asset prices. The creator of the App expressly excludes all liability for any action taken in reliance on rates displayed by the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the creator of the App shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Financial losses resulting from use of or reliance on displayed rates
Loss of data or interruption of service
Any inaccuracy in currency conversion results

Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.

6. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party APIs to retrieve data. The creator has no control over the accuracy, availability, or policies of these services and is not responsible for their conduct. Please refer to each provider's own terms for details:

7. Intellectual Property

The App's interface, code, and design are the property of the creator. Exchange rate data displayed belongs to its respective providers.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
